Punahou Co-Curricular Programs

Punahou School’s Co-Curricular Programs are an important extension of a broad, deep, and balanced educational program. Student engagement in learning can be heightened by a rich extracurricular and co-curricular life, and our after school programs provide students with ample opportunities for:

  • Exploration (inquiring, discovering, questioning, self-directedness)
  • Experiencing (reflection, awareness, insight, understanding),
  • Example (learning, applying and modeling), and
  • Excellence/Expertise (technical competence, integrity, sense of purpose, persistence, achievement).

Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the learning objectives of each program. We know that parents of younger children will give careful and thoughtful consideration to your child’s and family’s schedules and activities on- or off-campus. Your help in ensuring the appropriate balance between fun, unscheduled time, challenge, and learning will ensure that your child can reap the full benefits of a Punahou education and the satisfaction of achievement, participation, and lifelong learning.

Thank you for working with us to make your child’s experience at Punahou the best that it can be, and for being such an important part of our school community
